We are absolutely thrilled to have our work nominated for the Beazley Design of the Year 2017. This award is the Design Museum's flagship exhibition and recognises the most stimulating new work from around the world across six design categories: Architecture, Digital, Fashion, Graphics, Product and Transport. Our work at BuffaloGrid has been nominated in the Product category along with some amazing projects from international brands and designers.
From 18 October 2017 until 28 January 2018 one of our BuffaloGrid Hubs will be exhibited in the Design Museum as part of the main public exhibition.
I can speak for the BuffaloGrid team when I say that we are humbled to be recognised for such a prestigious award. We hope our work will help inspire designers, technologists and entrepreneurs to use their experience, tools and energy to tackle some of the world's most pressing problems.
You can read more about the nominations over at Wallpaper.
Update: On 18 October, our team visited the Design Museum as one of the first groups to see our new BuffaloGrid Hub on display. The exhibition demonstrates an increase in political activism in design, placing our work among that of innovative designers who are trying to bring about change in the world.
